Chieh Yun Tsai, the renowned designer behind this residential project, has masterfully combined modern luxury with the primitive characteristics of materials, resulting in a unique and captivating space. The apartment exudes a sense of simplicity and rustic living, complemented by carefully designed indirect lighting and mellow fabric furniture.
The design features a range of high-quality materials, including marble, imported wooden floors, titanium plates, baking finishes, veneers, leather carving plates, shell boards, wood textures, laminate hard plastic sheets, imported wallpapers, and leather and fabric walls. These materials not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the space but also contribute to its functionality and durability.
Spanning 211 square meters, the residential house boasts three bedrooms, one living room, one dining room, three bathrooms, a study room, and two dressing rooms. The layout has been meticulously planned to optimize space utilization and create a harmonious flow between different areas.
In the public sphere, the walnut floor exudes warmth, creating a quiet and cozy atmosphere. The dining room features a circular traffic flow, ensuring ample space for movement. The shape of the canopy is synchronized with that of the living room, blurring the distinction between the areas without compromising their independence. The addition of soft curved lines and a magnificent round crystal lamp with pearls adds a touch of elegance and warmth to the dining area, symbolizing family harmony.
The living space exudes comfort and stability, thanks to the warmth of the wood. The bedside floral wall showcases the owner's love for flowers and plants, while the sweet cocoa-colored lines frame the bedhead, creating a gorgeous view. Soft white light filters through the graceful soft gauze, creating a scene of aesthetic fascination that is both relaxing and gentle.
Throughout the design, the interplay of textures and materials adds depth and visual interest. The cold stone wall in the living room serves as a visual focal point, while the recessed leather sofa wall adds flexibility and balance. Delicate lines in the canopy and dynamic textures on the walls create a harmonious spatial sequence, evoking a sense of elegance and sophistication.
Overcoming various creative and technical challenges, Chieh Yun Tsai has created a design that seamlessly blends modern luxury with rustic charm. The foyer, adorned with crystal-clear shell mosaics and ink-colored stones, serves as a captivating vista. The silver gray stone frame, coupled with diffused light, reduces visual heaviness, while the hanging crystal lamp adds warmth and invites guests into the space.
The Luxury and Humanity residential house, completed in February 2021 in New City, Taiwan, is a testament to Chieh Yun Tsai's design prowess. It has garnered recognition and acclaim, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in 2022 for its well-designed, practical, and innovative features. This award-winning design exemplifies the integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world.
